Bathroom radios are very convenient to have in your bathroom. They make the whole bathroom experience more relaxing and enjoyable and a lot less about just getting clean. For me a radio is an essential part of the waking up and morning routine. One of the greatest pleasures is a lovely hot shower or a long soak in the bath while bopping away with the music of life in the background. If your lucky you get to multitask as you will hear the latest info on news, weather and traffic at the same time, saving you precious minutes later on.
One of the other useful things is to get a time check when getting ready in the morning, as we dont often have a clock in the bathroom. So a bathroom radio with a visible clock feature would be a very handy thing to have.
Try to choose a radio for the bathroom or shower that can take a lot of abuse. Its likely to be splashed with water or dropped in water, or knocked off of the wall or shelf or whatever. Good suction cups or hooks or ties are essential for this kind of radio to keep it in place. Positive reviews on sites like amazon can help make the choice for you, so use them as much as possible.
Bathroom radios are sure to put you in a good mood. And because they are generally splash proof they are also a perfect accompaniment for a visit to the pool or the beach.
If your going for a shower radio try and go for one that has a quality sucker so you can stick it where its most convenient and yet still audible with the shower running.
if you need to pick up more stations or are not in the best reception area, you may need to spend a little more to get a bathroom radio or shower radio of a bit more quality, as the basic models tens to only be good and picking up the larger or closer stations.

Ask for references and ceernt locations of jobs they have done. The best contractors will be glad to show off their work, and the people they have worked for should be enthusiastic about letting you see that work. If you do not or cannot get this type of reference, you are gambling with your money. This is step one. Without it, there is no reason to proceed. Definitely mention there is future work proposed, it will make them sharpen their pencils to get the first job. Do not commit to further work until you see enough of first job. Know exactly what you want as far as finished products, fixtures, flooring etc. Changing this along the way can jack up costs pretty quick. Make sure contract spells out everything that is discussed during bids. You should have a plan drawn by an architect if possible. Make sure payment schedule is spelled out and you are satisfied with progress of work for each payment. Final payment should not be given until you are satisfied, and all construction permits are closed out if your job requires permits.
